Heres some footage taken using shadowplay on geforce experience .
It was saved after some good kill moments ingame ,Just press left/ALT plus F10 or whatever keys you decide to use and job job .

Defo worth using for epic moments or for viewing any dodgey player kills .

Ill try and get some constan footage and see how it handles fps lose wise .

Looks useful for when you don't want the fraps frameloss but you experience awesomeness you wish you had recorded. Me being MLG, I obviously run into moments of my own pro-ness often.

I was playing about with the AMD version of this and found my FPS dropped by quite a bit when I tried for 60 seconds, 60fps, 1080p. Occasional frame freeze would occur too. Changing it down to 30 seconds, 30fps, 720p did help but I would still get the odd freezing. It it's all done by the graphics card then I should be fine with the R290. This of course is assuming that the slow down is not from the program upscaling to 1080p as my res is only 1024 in the Vertical???

Another reason to switch to Nvidia. So much easier and betterSmile

There's no reason not to buy nVidia.

There is when my multi monitor setup won't work with it as became knowledge in the other thread.

That's no reason. The correct thing to do is to buy nVidia anyway and hope the green gpu god takes mercy on your soul.

Decision making like that will only lead to failure.

AMD made sense in Chef's case because of his picasso-strike setup he uses, the AMD card will let him use 3 different size and aspect ratio monitors, whereas Nvidia only likes monitors of the same res and refresh rate.

I've got a second monitor with a different res and refresh rate, that diddles along just fine. I don't use it to expand gaming in any way though, I don't see the value. I can see why there would be an issue trying to use an odd monitor for expanded fov

The thing is bark - youre not using the extended fov (obviously - since your and mine setup seem similar - two screens (one of mine is 144hz 1920x1080 one is 60hz 1860x1026 [the res is super fucked up - no idea why..])). I can totally see drivers having problems with different resolutions over monitors.. I actually have no idea how amd does it.
I mean as I see it (I have no idea how any of this works) the game sees the three screens as ONE screen with a really weird resolution. Whereas the driver has to pick the combined screen apart into the three monitors it consists of and then from there on forward send the data to the fitting screens. Why it doesnt work with nvidia but with amd - no idea. Thats probably the secret behind eyefinity..

The issue is not with multiple monitors, it's with Nvidia surround. You can run many different display sizes from an Nvidia card, but if you try to play games across them all, nope.
