Well with this thing you wont need shadowplay since you can record everything even with fraps on like 200fps. except 4k.
You could buy an extra physX card to calculate the awesomeness of that.
Welp its amd, no shit its not cuda. Who the hell needs cuda if you have 2 R9 290xs in one card.

Also AMD has a pretty huge list of exclusive stuff as well.

I'm still an nvidia guy. I just think its awesome how they pack so much inefficient power into one card that even needs a stock h2o cooler.
looking forward to titan z vs r9 295x - even tho titan z will probably win.. 12gig of gddr5..

I am AMD and have been for a long time since the HD3870. Before that I was Nvidia with a 9800GTX.
This is a damn good card and is top of the market at the moment.
Titan Z Is going to beat this card but it should do with the expected price of $3000.
Wont be getting either of them but WOW!!!!!!!!!

I know a few people that would buy this card and use it for something like minecraft...PMSL!!! More money than sence!!!!

I have the r9 290x and for gaming is the same as the titan but the r9 series got mantle that is very good for playing games but half of the price

Well with this thing you wont need shadowplay since you can record everything even with fraps on like 200fps.

Fraps is horribly inefficient both in CPU usage and in the gigantic movie files it spits out in a proprietary format, which you have to transcode before they can be used. Bandicam is better than Fraps as it can make use of CUDA to create good quality MPEG-4 files. But even that isn't as efficient as ShadowPlay.

Additionally every other recording app requires you plan the recording rather than just press a button when something interesting or funny happens and have that last 1-20 minutes saved. I'd love to see some real alternatives to ShadowPlay but they don't exist.

Or just use an nVidia card as my primary card, keeping power consumption and heat generation down to a minimum.

Having two ATI cards won't help with rendering in Blender. Whereas a modest nVidia card like the 770 GTX pummels most if not all CPUs for rendering time. CUDA is a big deal for people who use their GPUs for more than just gaming.

But then again that all pretty much doesn't matter. If one has the money to actually invest into this he probably won't go cheap on the rest of his rig either. "I'll buy a 1,3k gfx card and an i3 because its more power efficient." - no one ever (2014)

obviously for somebody that is using gfx cards for buisness & rendering AMD cards are rarely a solution.

There are always people who go for insanely overpowered rigs for anything thats on the market right now. Who needs this? Probably nobody. Do they care? nope... They will probably sell quite a few of those just because of all the bitcoin miners in the us right now.

What I really don't understand are people with like 12 mining rigs in their basement - oc'd amd cards to the max with watercooling.
But what I really wanna see of these people is merging their heating system with the water cooling system. Buy a HUGE pump - connect the tubes to the gfx cards and the heating system and see what happens
