Dont blame you. Massive waste of my hard earned £20. Couldve had a happy night in a strip club with that cash. Or opened a shit tonne of csgo cases

Blimey, that was old for me after five hours. First two people I met had infinite health and could teleport. It was atrocious

I've had a lot of fun with it, but only playing with a mate. Would be awful solo.
Personally, I can't see it ever being that good a game. Whatever anyone says about it being Alpha, it's based on a shitty engine and will always be a bit shitty IMO. Mods for ARMA III like Breaking point are already far and away better.

Arma 3 uses an updated version of the Real Virtuality engine used for Arma II and DayZ SA.

So in two years we might see something approaching ARMA 3 quality? that's gonna look pretty poor then IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it and will keep playing but it isn't going to be the awesome game some people seem to think it will be.

No. DayZ SA is never going to look as good as Arma 3. DayZ SA is somewhere in between Arma 2 and Arma 3, like Take On Helicopters.

I'm not exactly sure what people were hoping for when they invested their £20 into a mod of a 5 year old milsim but I don't think their expectations were grounded in reality.

if they don't get the update process faster it's gonna loose all that wanted to buy it, and there are many more zombie apocalypse games ready to take over!
so bottom line dayz's still in developmental!
maybe next year we can all expect it to be fully released!

PS: i don't think people developing dayz are gettin paid enough to do the work maybe that's kinda why it ain't makin any progress!

They getting paid like every BIS employee. A lack of small updates recently is more likely an indicator or a larger part of the game being in development.
