Its still early days and theres a few bugs there currently working on to get it up and running especially with origin.

however having a instant replay save button which can be set from 15 seconds up to 10 minutes is great , plus it has record feature which after reading can utilize H.264 video encoding is even better , means smaller sized files without to much loss of quality Big Grin

I tested the replay on several games using steam & origin games, once you add your games, AMD Evolved tells you weather its DVR compatible, one thing to watch for is the optimising built into Evolved, for example in BF4 it uses the Evolved settings in game which isn't always the best thing, took me a few attempts to work out it was best disabled.

For example :

This video was taken using the replay feature and has the following DVR settings ( Quality : High )

MAX BITERATE : 50 M/BS
MAX FRAMERATE: 60 FPS
MAX RESOLUTION: 10800P
REPLAY LENGTH : 300 SECONDS

OUTPUT FILE SIZE : 375MB PER MINUTE = 3 MINUTES RePLAY @ 1125MB.

Available in 1080p on youtube.

overall its pretty good and once they get the bugs out it puts AMD GFX cards on a level with nvidea with shadowplay. Defo something i will be watching to see how well it progress's

60FPS should be plenty (unless you want slooooooooow Big Grin), but quite right I totally forgot slo-mo. Think I have my Dxtory set to 60 just in case I want that.

Sometimes half the speed is not slow enough Big Grin

you must be using the default codec lol an hour in dxtory for me is about 25 GB

plus if you want slow mo just render it threw vegas and add the mega super slow mo were needed Wink .. plus when you render it the file is smaller and easier to upload :p

Nope, I use Lagarith Lossless. But then file size isn't a massive issue for me as I have a 2TB for recordings Smile

Good for AMD. This is something they should copy.

space isn't an issue for me either but having the same quality in a smaller file is easier for editing as it doesn't take as long Tongue

http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/ << try this one Smile
